Our Guest Houses
Our spacious, smoke free guest houses offer the “creature comforts” that will help you relax after a great day of fun exploring in the Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Preserve. All six of our guest houses are Alaskan style log homes. They all have a full kitchen, private bath and a private bedroom with a luxurious queen bed and power 24/7. The guest houses are arranged along a ridge that offers great views to the east and south for morning sun, with a buffer zone of vegetation between each unit to ensure your privacy.
We now offer lodging through AirBnB in our Valdez, Alaska home. If you are including Valdez on your itinerary take a look at our place. We are far less expensive, quieter, cleaner and more ‘local’ than what you’ll find at one of the area hotels. Here are the two links for our listings –
Check out below a typical floor plan to see how the guest houses are laid out.
You can drive up to each guest house and park right in front for easy unloading and loading of your luggage and supplies. We also provide plenty of parking in a parking area just below the houses that is safe and secure.
We don’t have irons, toasters or microwaves in the houses to help us conserve our electricity. Despite being well equipped in many regards, we do NOT offer WIFI or televisions in our guest houses. There are WIFI hotspots in McCarthy and Kennecott provided by Copper Valley Telephone for your convenience.
If you travel with your pets, we ask that you keep them on a leash while visiting us. (Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 907-554-4424 in advance to see if we can accommodate your specific animal companions or to make a reservation.)
